Domestic aluminum profile companies enter the electrolytic aluminum industry

The domestic aluminum profile enterprise Zhongwang Group has officially entered the electrolytic aluminum industry recently, striving to achieve self-sufficiency in primary aluminum as soon as possible. The electrolytic aluminum project of Zhongwang Group will be constructed in two phases, the first and second phases are 400,000 tons each, and the first phase of 400,000 tons is scheduled to be put into operation in October next year. As the electricity price with the largest cost of electrolytic aluminum, Zhongwang Group has completed negotiations with the power grid. The project is located in Yingkou, Liaoning Province. Yingkou is an important port in the north, which will facilitate the transportation of alumina and the export of electrolytic aluminum in the future. It is reported that the project is currently in the civil construction stage.
