The center is the only high-end motorcycle wheel engineering technology research center in Jiangsu Province, with the main research of new materials of high-end motorcycle aluminum alloy wheel, research, design and application of new structure, new technology, new technology and new product of wheel.
There are now 58 full-time study and test personnel in the center, including 7 doctors, 10 with senior professional title, and 20 with intermediate title. The research personnel in the center mainly from Jiangsu Zhonglian Aluminum Co., Ltd and School of Material Science and Engineering of Jiangsu University form the research team with strong ability, fine business, and reasonable academic echelon. The whole team has strong spirit of cooperation and innovation.
Since the center was established, it has been adhering to the spirit "building scientific research platform, innovating incentive mechanism, strengthening innovation ability, accelerating enterprise development, and serving the whole industry". It has undertaken a number of science and technology projects and taken project as the link to cultivate independent innovation talents for the enterprise, playing the advantage role in the high speed development of high-end products, enterprise's technical transformation, energy saving and consumption reducing, benefit increasing, etc.
